"I’ve been interested in alternative energy since working on a hydrogen-powered UAV in college. Getting to run tests and evaluate data daily on a project like nuclear fusion was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up."
Patrick is one of Avalanche’s true Pacific Northwest natives, having grown up in North Bend (just outside of Seattle) and graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Before joining the Avalanche team, Patrick designed, tested and operated avionics systems at Blue Origin for the company’s crew capsules and New Glenn launch vehicle.
Patrick was drawn to his role as test engineer at Avalanche by the opportunity to work on a really cool project and a work environment that prioritized evolution through frequent testing.
