Charles Miller

Charles joined Avalanche following five years working at Blue Origin in the mechanical systems group, where his work primarily focused on designing systems for the landing gear for the New Glenn module. He also spent time interning with GE Aviation and Space X while earning his masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.

Charles works as a mechanical engineer at Avalanche, designing and building new components, as well as leading work on the Orbitron’s magnet system. Much of his work is focused around future applications for the fusion reactor, including research and documentation for electric power conversion systems and radiation shielding.

Charles grew up in Seattle and enjoys reading and exploring the outdoors.
